Propelled by worldwide demand for mechanical engineering products, RENK succeeded in considerably improving order intake, sales, and earnings. Order intake gained 19 percent to rise to €314 million, sales advanced 13 percent to €307 million. Thanks to the higher revenues and further rationalization effects, EBIT showed an accelerated increase from €21 million to €29 million (up 38 per-cent), equivalent to a ROS of 9.5 percent (up from 7.7 percent). more |
